During the 8-12 of February 2010 Peak Performance had the honor of sponsoring the 33^rd America’s Cup.

Peak Performance developed a unique America’s Cup collection, which was used by the entire organization during the regatta in Valencia.

The first America’s Cup was arranged back in 1851, making it the oldest sport trophy in the world. This time the winner from 2007, the Sociétè Nautique de Genève, had their boat Alinghi 5 challenged by the Golden Gate Yacht Club and their boat, the BMW Oracle Racing. This was the first time in the cup’s history that the two competitors were both racing 90 feet multi hull boats.

This will not be the first time Peak Performance is involved in sailing.

As early as 1994 Peak Performance made an exclusive line of advanced sailing apparel for the crew on the Intrum, a boat participating in the Whitbread Round The World Race.

In 1998 Peak Performance once again was involved in the Whitbread as the clothing sponsor of the two EF boats in the Whitbread.
